What the Recience 1.5mm Panel Actually Delivers

Let’s get the tech specs out of the way first, because they matter, but only in context of what they mean for your event.

The Recience 1.5mm panel runs at a 1.55mm pixel pitch (marketed as 1.5mm) with a 320×320 cabinet resolution. That gives you 416,025 pixels per square meter. The contrast ratio sits at 6000:1. Refresh rate ranges from 1920Hz to 3840Hz. The viewing angle is 160 degrees horizontal and vertical. These are premium indoor LED tiles built for environments where visual refinement matters, such as ballrooms, exhibit halls, boardrooms, and stages where the audience sits close to the screen.

What those numbers mean on the show floor or in the ballroom: content looks crisp at close range. No visible pixel grid. Motion graphics, logos, presentation decks, video, everything holds together when attendees are standing 8-15 feet away. That matters more than you’d think. A lower-resolution panel at the same distance makes your content look cheap, which makes the brand look less premium.

Each cabinet is 496×496mm, about 9.2 kg. Runs on standard AC 100-240V. The module size is 248×248mm. Drive mode is 1/40. None of that matters to a meeting planner. What matters is that the screen fits the space, matches the creative vision, and doesn’t become a project-management headache.

Who This Is For

Not every LED rental is the right fit for every event. Here’s where Recience 1.5mm panels earn their place:

Corporate event planners. You’re running a general session, an executive presentation, or a multi-day conference. The content on that screen is the centerpiece of the room. It needs to look polished. An indoor LED wall at this pixel pitch delivers that level of finish. You don’t want to explain to the CMO why the video wall looks grainy from the third row.

Trade show exhibitors. Your booth is competing with dozens of others on a crowded show floor. The Recience 1.5mm panel gives you the visual density to stop traffic up close. Combined with its modular framing compatibility, you can build a display that feels custom without the custom timeline.

Event production agencies. You’re designing an environment for a client. You need a display solution that integrates with your scenic elements, plays nice with your lighting and audio, and doesn’t eat your budget in labor costs. The Recience panel’s compatibility with BeMatrix, Aluvision, and Recience’s own framing means it slots into existing builds.

Marketing and brand teams. The brand experience matters. If the AV looks second-rate, the event feels second-rate. The Recience 1.5mm panel delivers the visual quality that matches the production value your team is already putting into the room.

How It Works

The process is straightforward, and that’s by design. A rental doesn’t help if the logistics eat your week.

Step 1: Consultation & scope. Tell us what you’re producing. The application type, the room or booth dimensions, the viewing distance, the content, the schedule. We’ll recommend the right configuration, whether it’s flat wall, curved, cube, mixed with SEG graphics, and confirm power and rigging requirements.

Step 2: Design & layout. We build a display layout in our system that maps every cabinet to the structure. This is where the compatibility with BeMatrix, Aluvision, and Recience framing pays off. The panels integrate with your existing booth or scenic hardware, so there’s less reinvention and fewer surprises on load-in day.

Step 3: Delivery & setup. The panels arrive on your timeline, not ours. Our technicians handle the build, cable management, processor configuration, and screen calibration. You get a fully tested display, not a pallet of boxes and a manual. Every piece of equipment is inspected before it ships.

Step 4: On-site support. Throughout the event, someone from the High Res team is there or on-call. If something needs adjustment, such as content resizing, brightness for a lighting change, or a panel swap, it gets handled. No waiting for a support ticket.

Step 5: Strike & return. After the event, we handle teardown and pack-out. You walk away. That’s it.

Why Choose High Res

There are a few places in the country where you can rent Recience 1.5mm panels. Matrix Visual carries them. LED Wall Central lists them as an option across multiple vendors. But here’s the difference.

High Res is a production company that rents LED, not a rental company that happens to stock LED. We’re backed by GSE Audiovisual, a production house with real event experience. That means when you work with us, you’re getting more than a panel delivery. You’re getting a team that understands how a video wall interacts with staging, lighting, camera, and audience sightlines, because we’ve been on the other side of the production table.

Most LED rental houses operate as brokers. They carry 15 brands because they want to say yes to everyone. But breadth comes at a cost: they’re experts in nothing. High Res is intentionally specialized. We focus on high-performance LED for events where failure isn’t an option. That focus means our techs know the Recience panel inside out, including how it behaves in different room conditions, how it rigs into different structures, and how to tune it for camera versus live viewing.

Our inventory scale matters too. With 500 units of Recience 1.5mm LED tiles available at any given time, we can cover everything from a 10-panel booth display to a 100-panel main stage. That’s real capacity for real productions, not a token inventory that’s half-committed elsewhere.

What we don’t do:
– We don’t position as a generic AV company
– We don’t compete on price alone
– We don’t promise what we can’t deliver by load-in day

FAQ

How far in advance should I book?
For a standard configuration, 2-3 weeks is comfortable. For complex builds like curved, multi-face, or suspended, give us 4-6 weeks for best results. That said, we’ve turned around custom builds in under a week for rush events.
Can Recience 1.5mm panels work outdoors?
They’re designed for indoor use. If your setup is in a covered outdoor environment (tent, pavilion, semi-enclosed venue), we’ll evaluate the conditions and recommend the right panel for the environment. X-GOB protection helps in controlled environments, but direct outdoor exposure calls for different hardware.
What’s the minimum rental term?
Standard rental includes setup day, event day(s), and strike day. Shorter windows are possible for load-in/strike-only events. Longer runs are pro-rated. All equipment remains under our support coverage for the full duration.
Do you provide the content playback system as well?
We focus on the display hardware, processing, and infrastructure. If you need content playback, media servers, or show control integration, we can recommend partners from our production network or work with your existing team.
What happens if a panel fails during the event?
We carry spares on-site for every event above a threshold of complexity. If a module or panel needs replacement during the show, we swap it. Our support technician stays on-site or within immediate reach throughout event hours.
Can I see the panels before booking?
Absolutely. We can arrange a demo at our facility or send samples to your office or production space. Seeing the panel in person, and testing it with your content, is the best way to confirm it’s the right fit for your event.
